Functieomschrijving

In this position you will promote all commercial activities; trace, win and maintain clients by means of active and passive issue of rates, if necessary in consultation with the principal.
Give written or verbally quotation to client and follow-up and record all inquiries.
Advertising of sailings and organize commercial actions for a specific service and/ or sailing.
Active observing the quoted rates and received sales-leads; included the statements required by the principal.
You will report to the owner about all developments in the market and report to the Manager Marketing & Sales.
Maintain all necessary contacts with the principal, clients (shippers, consignees, forwarders), companies and all others, which belong to the external contacts and maintain an optimum contact with colleagues of the other departments
You will work according to Q.M.S. and improve Q.M.S.

Functie eisen

You have a HAVO/ MBO4 diploma and Cargadoor I & II and /or Logistic Management diploma, NIMA A and/or other commercial education.
Working experience; 5 years minimum and knowledge of Global Container Shipping with focus on Far East.
You have good communication skills in the modern languages (Dutch, English and German)
You have a good executive ability and market knowledge, are independent, flexibel, accurate, have the ability to organize and have good social skills.
You have a driver licence.
